Welcome to iLINK ("iLINK," "our," "we" or "us"). iLINK is a free, location-based, private social network for local communities. The best way to connect with other locals over shared passions and values.

 

If you access or use the iLINK website, iLINK services, or any applications provided by iLINK (collectively, the "Services" or “iLINK Services”), you agree to be bound by these terms of use (“Terms” or "Terms of Use"). These Terms applies to any users, visitors, and others that access the Services. The Services are owned, controlled, or licensed by C3 ILINK PTE LTD ("iLINK"). 

 

These Terms of Use govern your access or use of the Services and affect your legal rights and obligations. Unless you agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use, do not access or use the Services.

 

1. Basic Terms of Use

   • You shall not use the Services if you are under the age of 13.

   • You shall ensure that your contact information is up to date and accurate.

   • You shall be responsible for keeping your password safe and secure.

   • You shall not create an iLINK account with false information, or create an account for anyone besides yourself without permission.

   • You shall not solicit, distribute, or use the account information of other iLINK Users.

   • You shall not sell your account, with the exception of persons, businesses, or groups that have permission to create accounts on behalf of their employers or clients.

   • You shall not post Content that is violent, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, unlawful, violent, or that contains private or confidential information, including but not limited to, your or any other person’s sensitive financial information, identity documents, or contact information.

   • You shall not stalk, harass, defame, bully, or threaten any iLINK Users, affiliate companies, or entities.  

   • You shall not violate any laws, rules, or regulations applicable to your Content or your use of the Services.  

   • You shall be solely responsible for your behaviour and any text, audio, video, graphics, photos, links, information, applications, and other materials or files (collectively, “Content”) that you submit, transmit, share, or post on or to the Services. Any of your actions or Content in regards to the Services shall be in accordance with iLINK’s Community Guidelines, available here https://www.ilink.asia/community-guidelines.

   • You shall not modify or alter the Service’s, or introduce content or code or otherwise alter or interfere with the way any iLINK page is rendered or displayed on user’s devices or browsers.  

   • You shall not use any means, except those authorised by iLINK, to access iLINK’s private API.

   • You shall not post or use the Services to transmit any forms of unauthorised commercial communications or unwanted communications, (such as spam), to iLINK Users.

   • You shall not upload to, or transmit through the Services any Content that could adversely impact or be harmful to the proper function or normal operations of iLINK, or servers or networks connected to iLINK, including worms, viruses, spyware, malware, or other harmful elements.

   • You shall not collect or otherwise access any account information or any Content on the Services by automated means, such as bots, spiders, or scrapers.

   • You shall not attempt or perform any actions that prohibit or interferes with another user from using or enjoying the Services.

   • You shall not aid or abet any violations of these Terms of Use or any other iLINK Policy or Guideline, such as iLINK’s Community and Brand Guidelines.

   • We do not endorse and are not responsible for any User Content on the Services. You acknowledge and agree that iLINK reserves the right in its sole discretion, but is under no obligation to, remove your Content or suspend or ban or terminate your iLINK account, if you are found to be in violation of these Terms of Use.
      

2. General Conditions

   • iLINK reserves the right and sole discretion, to change, suspend, or terminate, the Services or your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, and without liability to you. If iLINK suspends, bans, deactivates, or terminates your account you will henceforth lose access to any information or data associated with your account, however, such information and data may remain and appear within the Services.

   • Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms of Use will immediately cease.

   • We reserve the right and sole discretion to revise these Terms of Use. Prior notice will be given, before the revised Terms of Use become effective, with the exception of any revisions made for legal or administrative reasons. You agree that we may notify you of the revised Terms of Use by posting them on the Services and that your use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms of Use will constitute your agreement to the revised Terms of Use. The revised Terms of Use will be effective as of the time of posting unless otherwise specified in the revised Terms of Use. Hence, you are responsible for reviewing these Terms of Use for any revisions before using the Services. These Terms of Use will govern any and all disputes occurring before the effective date of the revised Terms of Use.

   • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse access to iLINK to anyone for any reason at any time.

   • We reserve the right to force forfeiture of any username for any reason.

   • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, but are under no obligation, to remove, edit, block, and/or monitor Content or accounts containing Content that violates these Terms of Use.

   • In no event shall iLINK be responsible or liable for the conduct of any User. You agree that you are solely responsible for your communication and interaction with other iLINK Users, both online and offline.

   • The Services, or communications you receive from the Services, may contain links to third party websites, features, services, or content that we neither control, maintain, nor endorse (e.g., Google Maps). In addition, we may provide you with the option to share your Content via third party social media or messenger platforms, and with the ability to connect your iLINK account to such third-party platforms. You acknowledge and agree that iLINK is neither responsible nor liable for any third-party features, services, or platforms or for any communications, interactions, or business dealings between you and a third party. If you choose to use third party applications or platforms (each, an “Application”) that connect to the Services or to your iLINK account, such an Application may collect, interact, or transmit information to and from your iLINK account. You acknowledge and agree that you use such Applications at your own risk and that by doing so your personal or sensitive information may be shared to disclosed publicly, even though iLINK has not provided or disclosed such information.

   • Since the Services requires a unique mobile number for the registration of an iLINK account (i.e., a mobile authenticator), any communications regarding account verification will be sent via SMS text message. You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for all carrier data charges you incur through use of the iLINK App and that your ability to access and use the Services will be subject to your carrier’s coverage and wireless network conditions.
      

3. Rights

   • You retain ownership and sole responsibility for any Content you submit, post, or share on the Services. You agree to grant iLINK a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to distribute, transmit, copy, perform, make derivative works, or publicly display your Content for any purpose and in any medium, subject to our Privacy Policy, available here http://ilink.asia/privacy. (For example, we may display non-identifiable User Content on the iLINK website).

   • You agree that: (i) you have the legal right and capacity to agree to these Terms of Use in your jurisdiction; (ii) you have the necessary rights over any content that you submit, post, or share on or through the Services, and that your Content does not infringe on or violate the intellectual property rights of any third party; and (iii) you are solely liable for all costs, fees, royalties, and any other debts incurred as result of the Content that you submit, post, or share on or through the Services.

   • You acknowledge and agree that iLINK may place advertisements and promotions on the Services that may be on, about, or in conjunction with your Content (e.g., a sponsored community channel). We may change, without prior notice, the manner, mode, and extent of such advertising and promotions on the Services, and we may not always clearly distinguish paid services, advertising, sponsored content, or commercial communications from General User Content on the Services.

   • The Services contains content owned or licensed by iLINK, including, but not limited to, graphics, text, photographs, images, video, audio, animations, website compilation, software, and code (collectively, the "iLINK Content"). iLINK Content is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, confidential information, and other applicable intellectual property rights or laws. iLINK owns and retains all rights in the iLINK Content, Services, and Brand (see below for definition). You shall not remove, alter, or conceal any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights notices that appear in conjunction with or incorporated into the iLINK Content and you shall not make unauthorized use of, reproduce, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, prepare derivative works, perform, display, publish, distribute, transmit, broadcast, sell, license, or otherwise exploit the iLINK Content.

   • The iLINK name, logo, “Cowbee” icon, App icon, and slogan are trademarks of iLINK (collectively, the “iLINK Brand”), and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, for marketing, broadcasting, or commercial purposes without the prior written permission of iLINK. Any use of the iLINK Brand shall adhere to the logo graphic designs, colour schemes, and name usage convention as shown in iLINK’s Brand Guidelines (collectively, the “iLINK Brand Resources”), available here https://www.ilink.asia/brand-guidelines.

   • You acknowledge that there will be occasions when the Services may be interrupted, including, without limitation, for scheduled maintenance or upgrades, for emergency repairs, failure of carrier network services, or failure of internet provider services or equipment. In addition, iLINK reserves the right to edit, move, or remove any Content from the Services for any reason, without prior notice. Content removed from the Service may continue to be stored by iLINK, including, without limitation, for reasonable business or legal purposes or obligations, but may not be retrievable without a valid court order. Therefore, iLINK recommends that you maintain your own backup of your Content. iLINK will be neither liable nor responsible for any losses due to the loss of any Content, or for any modification, discontinuation, or suspension of the Services. You also acknowledge any online service or platform may be subject to breaches of security and that the submission of Content or other information carries this risk.

   • You agree that iLINK neither endorses, is responsible, nor assumes any liability for any Content submitted, posted, or shared on or through the Services. iLINK reserves the right and sole discretion, but is under no obligation, to block, monitor, pre-screen, edit, move, or delete any Content. If your Content violates any of these Terms of Use, you may be held legally responsible for any liabilities or damages.
      

4. Reporting Intellectual Property Right Infringement

   • If you believe that Content on the Services infringes upon your intellectual property rights, you can submit that claim in the app using the “Report” function, or contact us at support@ilink.asia.

   • If you repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, we will, at our sole discretion, suspend, deactivate, or ban your account from the Services.

      

5. Indemnification

   • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold iLINK, its directors, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors, affiliates, joint ventures, related companies, and third-party service providers (collectively, the “iLINK Parties”) harmless from any and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and any other liabilities, including without limitation, attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way related to any of the following: (i) your access to or use of the Services; (ii) any Content you submitted or posted to the Services; (iii) your violation or alleged violation of these Terms of Use; (iv) your violation of any rights of third parties, including but not limited to, any confidentiality, publicity, intellectual property, property, or privacy rights; (v) your violation of any rules, regulations, or laws; or (vi) any misrepresentation made by you. You will, as fully required by iLINK, cooperate in the defence of any claim. iLINK reserves the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you will not in any case unless provided with the prior written consent of iLINK, settle any claim. 
      

6. iLINK Application

   • BY DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THE ILINK APP, WE GRANT YOU A LIMITED NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCLUSIVE, AND REVOCABLE LICENSE TO ACCESS AND USE THE SERVICES VIA THE ILINK APP THROUGH YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE.

      

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

   • YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ILINK PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ORAL OR ELECTRONIC, OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. THE ILINK PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY AND DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT: (A) THE SERVICES WIL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED; (B) THE INFORMATION ON THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE INSTRUCTIONS, GUIDES, EXAMPLES, OR INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES IS USEFUL, ACCURATE, OR COMPLETE; (C) THE SERVICES OR ILINK’S SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER SUCH HARMFUL COMPONENTS; (D) THE SERVICES WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR DEVICE OR ANY HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, OPERATING SYSTEM, SETTINGS, OR EQUIPMENT INSTALLED OR CONNECTED TO YOUR DEVICE; OR (E) ANY FEATURES OR ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICES WILL NOT BE MODIFIED, DISCONTINUED, OR REMOVED. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE, LOSS CONTENT, OR LOSS OF ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES. 
      

8. Limitation of Liability

   • IN NO EVENT WILL THE ILINK PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OR LOSSES, (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSSES OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR DATA OR LOSSES DUE TO NEGLIGENCE), DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR ACCESS TO: (A) THE SERVICES, ILINK CONTENT, USER CONTENT, OR THIRD PARTY CONTENT; (B) YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICES; (C) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THE SERVICES OR ILINK’S OPERATIONS; (D) ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MAY INCUR DUE TO ANY COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGE, LOSS CONTENT, OR LOSS OF ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES; OR (E) YOUR ACTIONS OR ANY ACTIONS OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES IN RELATION TO THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY DAMAGES FROM COMMUNICATIONS OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES THROUGH THE SERVICES OR OFFLINE, REGARDLESS IF ILINK WAS NOTIFIED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR THE DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE ILINK EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED SINGAPOREAN DOLLARS (SGD $100.00).

   • YOU AGREE TO RELEASE THE ILINK PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIMS AND DAMAGES, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED TO ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES. THE LIMITATIONS STATED WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTEND POSSIBLE EVEN IF THE REMEDY STATED IN THIS SUBSECTION FAILS TO ACHIEVE ITS PURPOSE.

      

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

   • These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. For all disputes related to these Terms of Use, we agree and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

      

10. General Agreement

    • Unless a separate agreement between you and iLINK has been enacted, these Terms of Use will make up the entire agreement between you and iLINK and regulate your use of the Services, superseding any prior agreement. These Terms of Use are written in English and are binding to the extent allowed by applicable law, any translated versions are merely provided as a convenience. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, then that provision, to the minimum extent necessary, will be severed from the Terms and the remaining provisions will be upheld to the maximum extent possible. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive iLINK’s right to enforce said provision. Unless you have prior written consent from iLINK, you shall not transfer or delegate any of your rights or obligations under these Terms of Use to any other party. iLINK reserves the right to assign these Terms of Use without your prior consent. These Terms of Use do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. The headings used within these Terms of Use are for readability and convenience and may be disregarded in the interpretation of these Terms of Use.
